Senior Pastor Jonathan Sansom
Pastor Jonathan Sansom has been serving in local ministry for over 20 years, and is the third generation of ministers in his family. Raised and trained in the local church, Pastor J has a driving passion to see the local community touched in a transformational way by the ministry of the local church. He has devoted many years to the outreach of the gospel beyond the walls of brick and mortar and the cross cultural and generational impact of the gospel as a life-giving power to those who receive it. Pastor Sansom has garnished success in networking with local leaders, state officials and the judiciary system in providing faith-based programs and initiatives for youth and families of delinquent youth and troubled families. He teaches from the approach that the family is God’s design of the perfect team. Pastor Sansom is also known for his articulation of principles that are given to mankind for the success and prosperity of all according to the will of God.
Recently Pastor Sansom released his first published book, “Building A Kingdom Culture”. He takes every reader through the concepts and precepts of God in building and establishing an alternative culture that produces Kingdom results starting in the individuals life, their home, their community, and finally their nation. As a pastor, speaker, author, and leader he continues to reach beyond the boundaries of social, religious, and political tribes to identify those who are willing to count the cost for a cause their life was purposed to achieve.
Both Pastors Ray & Angie Beasley are blessed to have been raised in Godly, Christian homes. Angie is the third generation of pastors in her family and has a deep compassion to reach as well as teach women in our community. Her vision is to ignite a fire that will forge the hearts of ladies together so they embody the spirit of true Sisterhood.
Pastor Ray is retired from the U.S. Air Force after 25+ years of service. Having lived the military life with four children and several moves over those years, he truly understands the challenges our service members face. Pastor Ray has also been involved with Youth and Children's ministries for the better part of 33 years and believes it's better to build children than to repair adults.
They are honored to serve as Family Pastors at Gateway City Church where their mission is to build every family (even those of one) into a thriving representation of Christ to our city. Each family will then, in turn, share in the blessings of Gateway City Church.
